Easy-Listening music is enjoying a great resurgence in recent years, according to Rosario. "It's taking a direction and it's developing new categories," says the accomplished pianist, who has just released his new solo album entitled, Ballerina.
"I want to satisfy my audience with great, easy-listening piano music. I'd like for them to feel very calm with it," he says. "I believe that music is a healing process; I want it to be soothing for them so they can relax with it and dream away."
Being attuned to the needs of his audience is something Rosario is particularly skilled at. "I touch them," offers Rosario, "my deliveries are very sensitive - they feel what I play, and that's the reaction I get from them."

With over a quarter-century of professional experience under his belt, Rosario has performed as both a Piano Entertainer and Musical Director. Over the years, he has played in a variety of international concert and club venues, and is a much-coveted musical artist for some of the world's most prestigious cruise lines, thrilling audiences from all over the globe. "I've traveled the world about ten times now," says Rosario, who calls Toronto - one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities - his home base. "I've spent nine years at sea; I've seen a lot and done a lot, and when I come back to Toronto I'm a calm individual. I'm Europeanized, I'm South Americanized, I'm Africanized, I'm Asianized - I just take life as it goes."

Describing himself as a family-oriented person, Rosario embarked upon his musical education at the early age of four, and began performing professionally with a quartet combo at the age of fourteen.

Following high school, Rosario was awarded a musical scholarship, and went on to receive both a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education at York University and the University of Toronto. He taught music in the secondary school system for seven years, but has found performing to be more pleasurable and personally fulfilling.

His refined personality and concern for his audience's enjoyment is something that sets Rosario apart from so many other musical artists. "You have to be creative," he says. "It's not just about being a musician or how well you play the piano. You have to be able to create good music and make sure that your music reaches out to the listener - that's my main job."
In addition to his abilities as a pianist, Rosario is also an accomplished vocalist who sings in four different languages.

Following the success of his 2000 album Ballerina, multi-talented pianist Rosario has released four new recordings embracing a wide variety of musical genres that are sure to delight piano aficionados everywhere.
Each individual album focuses on a specific style and features songs thoughtfully arranged by Rosario, carefully selected from his vast repertoire of music. Released on the Clap Records label, this collection of piano music was produced by Florida-based Arpeggio Productions and was recorded at Toronto's Lydian Sound studios.
